![]() ![]() ![]() Some late game upgrades are essential to finding everything, and it all mixes up togehter, you can't tell what is where, what upgrade you need to access which secret, etc.Īll in all, the game is good, but too big in my opinion. Some items are marked on the map to find, and you can flip 360 and you won't find the right way to actually reach them. The maps are pretty big and after about 15 hours in the game it gets tedious to look for stuff in them. I had to find an item I had to destroy to progress in the true ending quest, and there was no indication on the map about where to look. I had to find NPC X (for example) and my quest log had no indication where he was, nor my map had any clues. It came out of nowhere and I had a ton of stuff yet to discover, then when I started to gather everything I missed, all the upgrades, finishing all the side-quests, I realized the guiding system is really flawed. The problem came when I reached the "bad ending". The graphics as well were a joy to watch. The combat and upgrades were great, the world was beautiful, the secrets were top notch which I really appreciate in metroidvanias. I've played HAAK the past couple of weeks and decided to drop it very close to the true ending.
